Toby Smith
Board Chair

Toby Smith has lived in Tulsa for 24 years and has been married to his wife, Dee for 26 years. They have two grown children, Annalyn and Pierce Smith. Toby is Vice President of JB&A Aviation where he helps clients buy and sell corporate jet aircraft. He is a private pilot and active in the aviation industry, currently serving on the board of directors for the International Aircraft Dealers’ Association (IADA). Toby graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Accounting. He is an active member of his church, gives time to Tulsa area Young Life, and has been very active with Influencers Ministries for the last 6 years, leading several groups in the Tulsa area and currently serving on Influencers Tulsa board of directors. Toby enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, running, mountain biking, CrossFit, and traveling.  

Ken hirshey
Board vice-Chair

Ken is a registered Professional Engineer who holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington where he piloted the initial Management of Technology MBA curriculum. Ken currently serves as Chairman of Cyntergy, a full-service architectural/engineering firm. Founded by Ken in 1997, Cyntergy provides all engineering disciplines and architecture in-house with a staff of over 115 professionals, which makes it the largest AEC firm in the state of Oklahoma. He's an active member of numerous professional organizations such as the National Society of Professional Engineers, American Management Association, Chi Epsilon (National Civil Engineering Honorary), Tau Beta Pi (National Engineering Honorary) and the Tulsa Post of the Society of American Military Engineers. Mr. Hirshey is also an active member of the Arkansas Alumni.
Mr. Hirshey serves on several boards including Christian outreach organizations such as Young Life, Influencers, Operation22MST, and Tulsa Children’s Museum. Ken comments, “the impact that Influencers and the Journey have is beyond words. This journey to true discipleship and understanding of the character of God reveals His heart and true nature and what He intends for each of us to model and reflect. We were created in His image and we have the heart of God inside us. As we abide in Him, He transforms our hearts into what He intended us to be. Because of this, we can be influencing others in a genuine and natural way wherever God has placed us in the marketplace.”

Dave hembree
Board treasurer

Dave is a native Tulsan and has been married to Laurie for over 25 years. They have two daughters, Emily and Maggie who is married to Josh. Dave is the President of Sawyer Manufacturing Company, a Tulsa based manufacturing and fabrication facility that focuses on the Energy industry. In his free time, Dave enjoys the lake with family, being involved in his children’s sports and activities, and cycling. Dave’s connection to the ministry is through Frank Khalil. Frank and Dave both attended Memorial High School in Tulsa and got reacquainted years later through the ministry Young Life in Tulsa. Dave enjoys seeing men’s lives changed through the Journey process.

Ryan griesemer
Board member

Ryan is originally from Missouri but has called Tulsa home since 1998. Married to Kacy for over 20 years, they have 3 children: Madison, Luke, and Roxie. After 20 years of working for an Adhesive and Equipment Distributor, Ryan made a career change and now sells Engineered Suspensions for Ridewell Corporation. Ryan says, “God’s timing is always perfect and it led me to go through the Journey in 2009. It was the right time for me to start seeking Him in my daily walk. God continues to surround me with incredible men in my life. Men that I can lean on and lock arms with during the battles we face daily. I am honored and excited to be a part of the Influencers Tulsa Board. I am constantly amazed at how God is using us to help hungry men seek a personal, abiding relationship with our heavenly Father!”

tommy oliver
Board & cabinet member

Tommy has been married to his wife Dominique for 28 years. They have 2 adult children, Cameron Oliver who is married to Whitney, and Dani Walton who is married to Addison. Lincoln Oliver is the first grandchild of the family. The Oliver family attends First Church in Owasso. Tommy has spent most of his career in healthcare and serves as President at Griswold Home Care of Tulsa, a senior care company.

 Tommy was invited to participate in a Journey group in 2017 during which the Lord began transforming his heart. He loves being a part of Influencers and in the years since, he has and is currently guiding Journey groups. “It is an absolute joy to see the transformation that takes place in the hearts of those that learn to Abide in Christ.” In this current season, Tommy and Dominique are enjoying their first grandchild, and enjoying quality time with their children and their families. Tommy and Dominique love to travel and spend time together, and says, “We are committed to the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20.”

Rich Love
Board member

Rich has lived in Tulsa since 1991 with his wife of over 30 years, Jana. They are the proud parents of two adult sons, Dr. Mitchell Love of Dallas, and Jackson and his wife Sara Love of Tulsa. Rich has practiced law for most of his career at Conner & Winters where he is a commercial trial attorney. The Love family attends church at Kirk of the Hills.
