Jeremy Warren, Area Director, Influencers of Tulsa
Jeremy Warren, a native to Tulsa, lived his childhood in the suburb of Broken Arrow with his parents and younger sister. Attending Broken Arrow High School and Tulsa Technology Center, Jeremy went on to pursue his interest in Commercial Art full time after graduating in 1999. Jeremy met his best friend, Heidi, just a couple of short years later, and in 2003 she became his wife and lifelong partner. They are a homeschooling family with five boys and are living out their family’s mission to pursue God’s best through meaningful relationships, adventurous living, and intentional rest.
Jeremy attended church from birth and understood who God was from an early age, giving his life to Christ as an adolescent by way of prayer and baptism. Jeremy felt the call to ministry from early on, but was told by pastors and others over the course of his young adult life that very few people are called to vocational ministry and that likely he was just overly excited about his faith. Jeremy knew that he was created for more than what he had been told and was currently living out. In January 2017 he experienced an encounter with the Holy Spirit that would confirm his thoughts and set the course for their future. Jeremy was no longer ok with just being a “Christian” and surrendered fully to the Lord by becoming “all in”. “I realized that I had accepted Him as my savior, but never surrendered to Him as Lord. Reading Matthew 7:21 that year was a pivotal moment and spoke to me different than ever before.”, Jeremy says.
Jeremy’s passion and vision is to help others understand and experience true discipleship found only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and what it means to be a disciple. After being introduced to The Journey in 2019 and learning more about Influencers, it became evident that this was the very direction God had spent the last 39 years preparing him for.
